This initiative was spearheaded by the SOCCSKSARGEN Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (SOXAARRDEC), in collaboration with the National Dairy Authority – Southern Mindanao and the Municipality of Midsayap, in celebration of Food Safety Awareness Week. The event aimed to provide farmers with opportunities to adopt safe and sustainable food practices while exploring new livelihood and income-generating ventures.

Through participation in programs like TSPI 2025, MIST reaffirms its commitment to continuous capacity building among its faculty members and the transfer of innovative agricultural knowledge to its students. The institution remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that promote food safety, empower local farmers, and strengthen agricultural education—fostering a resilient and sustainable future for the community.
