The Makilala Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) actively participated in the 18th ALCUCOA National Conference, themed “Building Institutional Resilience and Sustaining Innovation Through Quality Assurance.” The event was held at the Manila Diamond Hotel, Roxas Boulevard, Manila, on December 9–10, 2025. MIST was proudly represented by its dynamic President, Dr. Gerardo A. Rigonan, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Engr. Jerry Paulo S. Oriente.

During the conference, MIST, under the leadership of Dr. Rigonan, was awarded a Certificate of Membership in Good Standing, recognizing the institution’s substantial compliance with the requirements for both original and renewed affiliation with ALCUCOA Philippines.

This achievement is highly significant for MIST as it reinforces the institution’s commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and continuous improvement. Participation in the conference and the renewed membership status strengthen MIST’s developmental efforts, enhance its institutional credibility, and support the growth of its leaders, faculty, and students.

Furthermore, it serves as a motivation for the entire MIST community to uphold high standards of education and contribute meaningfully to the institution’s long-term development.
