The Makilala Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) successfully conducted its two-day Pre-Deployment Seminar for student interns on January 9 and 13, 2026. The activity aimed to equip students and future professionals not only with academic readiness but also with the appropriate mindset, values, legal awareness, and practical skills necessary for a smooth transition from school to employment.
The seminar featured distinguished speakers, including Emilyn Ambat-Awon, MIC, RGC, who discussed the Career, Attitudes, and Strategies Inventory; Jack Denver B. Gemoya, AB Psych, who shared his expertise on work ethics; and Fritzee A. Bulaybulay, RPm, LPT, who provided guidance on writing a proper résumé and application letter.
Through a series of focused discussions and interactive activities, students were guided toward becoming career-ready, ethical, and responsible future professionals.
