Makilala, Cotabato—Pride and celebration filled the halls of the Makilala Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) as the institution welcomed a new batch of successful passers in the February 2026 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE), further strengthening its reputation in criminology education.
Based on the official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), MIST achieved an overall passing rate of 79.27%, significantly higher than the 66% national passing rate.
Among the examinees, first-time takers posted an outstanding 79.50% passing rate, reflecting the strong academic preparation and training provided by the institution. Meanwhile, repeaters also demonstrated commendable performance, recording a 66.67% passing rate, matching and even exceeding the national benchmark.
The strong performance highlights the dedication of the institution’s criminology faculty, the rigorous preparation of the students, and the continued support of MIST in producing competent and ethical law enforcement professionals.
School officials expressed pride in the successful examinees, emphasizing that the achievement reflects the institution’s mission of producing graduates who are academically equipped and professionally prepared to serve their communities.
