The Makilala Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), through its Entrepreneurship Department, actively participated in the Dose for Youth Forum 2025 with the theme “Integrating Purpose and Profit: The Social Entrepreneurship Path,” held today, October 28, 2025, at Acacia Hall, Cinco Niñas, Koronadal City. The forum highlighted the importance of combining economic success with social impact, inspiring young individuals to pursue entrepreneurship with a deeper sense of responsibility and innovation.

MIST was proudly represented by fourth-year Entrepreneurship students Raquel Guara, Floramae Camacho, Ruthcel Lagulao, and Charnie Cayog, guided by Artt Evander B. Dula, MBA, Program Head of the Entrepreneurship Department. Their participation showcased MIST’s commitment to shaping globally competitive and socially responsible entrepreneurs.
The activity was initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region XII, in collaboration with the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), aiming to build a community of empowered young entrepreneurs within Region XII by equipping them with essential knowledge, skills, and networks.


MIST’s participation in this forum equips future entrepreneurs with valuable insights and practical knowledge, preparing them to create innovative ventures that contribute to both economic growth and social impact.
